A selection of recently completed and ongoing Brookforge Pool Build Projects
This in one our more interesting pool projects, a 9.6m diameter round pool with 8 columns (0.5m dia) coming from within the pool.
The pool benefited from 16 led underwater lights with the surface kept clear by 4 stainless steel skimmers in the pool wall.
The pool plant room was fully automated with Besgo backwash systems and poolwise chemical dosing backing up an ozone water treatment system. Read more >>
Posted in:A complete refurbishment of an existing liner pool at a private school in Oxford. The pool needed updating with a new commercial grade liner, stainless steel skimmers and handrails.
A completely new updated automated plantroom was installed with the ability to cope with the heavy bather load.
Brookforge worked directly with the on-site maintenance team to quickly get this pool back up and running
Posted in:Works on this basement pool were started by a local swimming pool company. The client ran out of patience and cheque books and asked for Brookforge to take over the pool works.
Brookforge worked with the completed bare pool shell. We explained all the aesthetic options to the client. High spec options were chosen: Stainless steel shell fittings, a Covrex automatic slatted cover, fibre optic lighting, energy saving Pentair Intelliflo pumps, Besgo automatic backwash valves, ozone water treatment and automatic chlorine and pH dosing.

As part of an extensive semi-underground extension, the client commissioned Brookforge to design and build an insulated deck level swimming pool using ICF panels.
Brookforge worked with the client to adapt initial architect schematics and added all the pool specialist details and added features like stainless steel fittings, fibre optic lighting, illuminated water arches, automatic Besgo backwash valves automatic pool dosing and a custom automatic slatted cover.
This project is nearing handover stage. Pics to follow >>>

The owner has designed a modern, sedum roofed structure hidden within the hillside to house a 16m deck level swimming pool and deck level spa.
Brookforge were appointed to design and build an insulated pool and spa onto a pre-formed pool base. Brookforge have designed all pool hydraulics and will install all of the plantroom. Our 3rd party partners are designing and installing the H&V ducting. The project is in progress with the concrete walls poured. More info to follow >>>>
A new build pool in NW2. Working closely with the architect, client and main contractor Brookforge have designed and constructed a fully insulated Quadlock pool shell.
Having just passed its watertightness tests, the pool will be tiled and have stainless steel wall fittings. There will be a Calorex air source heat pump to efficiently heat the pool and a Covrex automatic cover to retain the heat. Updates to follow…

Working along side high-end developers Huntsmere Projects, Brookforge were asked to design and specify a luxury swimming pool as part of a large contemporary development in Prestbury.
Huntsmere Projects required a detailed technical specification which Brookforge engineered to the highest standard enabling Huntsmere Projects to achieve their goals.
The pool was a shuttered reinforced concrete construction, which included a cave recessed in one wall for an automatic slatted cover. Colour changing LED’s were installed to provide the customer the opportunity to adjust the lighting to suit their moods. The pool shell fittings were constructed in polished stainless steel.
Brookforge were commissioned to provide designs for the complete refurbishemnt of a 22m outdoor concrete pool in the Cotswolds.
Working with the Client’s appointed building company, Brookforge provided design, consultancy and engineering services, repiping and supplying new swimming pool equipment in the plant room.
Previously the swimming pool relied on a manual reel type thermal cover – Brookforge gave full structural designs for the construction and supply of a fully automatic slatted cover, built on to the end of the existing pool wall, in a “letter-box” type flooded pit.
We installed a Besgo automatic backwash valve to save space, water and reduced weekly maintenance requirements. We also advised on and supplied high quality mosaic pool tiles.

Working directly with the end user and their construction team, Brookforge designed, installed and commissioned this indoor overflow pool.
The pool was constructed using our Quadlock Pool ICF shuttering system and benefitted from a very subtle slot overflow channel hidden beneath the copings and surround tile.
The QuadlockPool system enabled one wall of the pool hall to be built directly on top of the pool wall, maximising pool surround space elswhere in the swimming pool building.
The pool featured semi-circular entry steps and submerged bench seating running along the full length of the pool.
The swimming pool and its overflow channel, plus the balance tank were waterproofed with Brookforge’s unique spray applied, flexible tanking membrane.
All the pool shell fittings were made in polished stainless steel and a high flowrate counter current unit was installed in the deep end wall.
As the pool hall had large amounts of glass windows it was critical that a correctly sized, fully ducted air handling unit was installed to ensure that the humidity, air temperature and water temperature were kept at the optimum levels.
